Train: Marry Me Meaning
Marry Me Lyrics
Songwriters: Monahan, Pat;
Forever can never be long enough for me
Feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now, we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do
Now that the weight has lifted
Love has...
-
I think he is watching his gf in a cafe getting up the nerve to propose. He's saying that love is more than feeling; its showing your feelings through your actions every day (marry me today and every day).
-
My interpretation of this song is that the guy is madly in love with this woman and they met in a cafe and he so badly wants to marry her but is afraid of the answer so he writes the song.
-
I think Marry Me (also judging by the video)is about a man, sitting in a diner, who sees this woman and instantly falls in love with her. I think that the lyrics are the thoughts running through his head the moment he sees her, "Marry Me." he immediately knows that sheh is the one for him.

This guy is watching his girlfriend in a café. He's really in love with her. But he's too nervous to propose so he writes the song to propose.

its is a nice song the melody is good the first i heard the song, this is a love that he could not express a real feelings to the person she love,
-
I do believe this song is about a man who sees his life with this woman, but hasn't the courage to ask her to marry him. He is overwhelmed. Love and fear unite. The first time I heard this song, I cried because it hit home. I am not married to the man that I should be because he didn't have the courage to tell me that he loved me. So, for all the young lovers out there who are comtemplating, don't. You will never know if you never ask. It is one of the most painful heartaches. You know that one can not live in the past and in regret, but it is very hard to let go.
