We The Kings: Sad Song Meaning
Sad Song Lyrics
We're like fireworks and symphonies exploding in the sky.

Well, when you watch the video, I think it's about they got divorced or, no, the wife died.
-
I think it represents the feeling when your broken up with someone, They were happy together but they had to be pulled apart so, when it says
"You and I, We're like fireworks and symphonies exploding in the sky. With you, I'm alive
Like all the missing pieces of my heart, they finally collide. So stop time right here in the moonlight, Cause I don't ever wanna close my eyes"
Its saying how it felt when they were together, An parts like "I feel torn like a sail in a storm" It's saying how it feels without the other. -
For me, I look at it as the bond of siblings have. A person who was there for you. Growing up together and laughing at each other's craziness. When you are together, you feel complete. No shyness, no hiding, to others yes, but to your sibling, it was like as if you can be yourself the whole day, or moments you were with him/her. I miss her really, so much.
-
with this song it is like you are torn like a sail in a storm in which I sometimes feel when I feel like I did something wrong or I just feel lonely. One of my ex feel like this and I had stopped him from hurting himself and he had always listen to this song like every day and nonstop too and he could sing along with the song and so can I.
