Adam Lambert: Better Than I Know Myself Meaning
Song Released: 2012
Better Than I Know Myself Lyrics
And more bitter than a december
Winter night
That's how I treated you
And I know that I
I sometimes tend to lose my temper
And I cross the line
Yeah that's the truth
I know it gets hard sometimes
But I could never
Leave...

the song is about a relationship being rocky and how his lover knows him better than he knows himself but I put it this way this song has made me cry every time I listen to it because of the emotion behind it I feel the same way with my parent's in a obviously nonromantic way as in it gets hard sometimes but my mom knows me better than I know myself its rough in my household right now and sometimes as Adam Lambert himself said "If I wanted to leave I would have gone by now but I need you near me to keep my mind off the edge" really explains how emotions can really get the best of both sides of any relationships being romantic, friends, or your family it shows how no matter what you're going to need that special someone or just someone in your life even if in your head you want to go but you can't or you want the lyric that I put earlier in my life I interpreted that lyric into how many times I wanted to commit suicide but it never worked because I knew I need my mom near me and in my life no matter what happens and if she ever left I would be dead because I'm not sure how much more I could take of my situation at the moment to be honest it gets hard but having that one person that "knows you better than you know yourself makes you want to stay because you know it's better with them than without.

I think it is a message to everyone out there... don't lock a part of yourself away. You can't run from yourself no matter how crazy parts of you are. Hiding them can drive you to the edge. He's saying that only you know yourself better than you think and better than anyone in the world. Also eventually you will give up the fight with yourself because you won't be truly happy or whole without accepting yourself first.

Actually the song lyrics is just explaining a trouble in a relationship which one of the couple is proud but not emotionless inside...
the fact is the video. you have to watch it. in my opinion it is irrelevant to the song but it so deep!
at the beginig it is showing adam lambert (someone) with 2parts. a bad and a good side. the good guy is going to have influence on bad guy but the bad guy keeps doing odd and bad things like drinking.
at the end, the bad guy wins! cause he lights o fire he doesnt get harmed! instead the good guy suffocates but bad guy saves him...
lets see what adam is teaching us...being bad and odd? crossing the lines? pushing the limits?
what does he really want?! -
Well . my opinion about this song ! Adam lambert ! is always honesty with his feelings . he does't pretend ! because he already in love with his partner . but he partner looks like his devil side . and he wants to suitable it ! and make one person . in order to understand each other !because he needs him ! and he could die without him

I think the meaning is that even when it's hard to express feelings of love, and you look like you're angry and full of hatred and only end up making things worse, you actually feel desperate and cornered. Like if you actually really do have an emotional and soft side. It's just that you don't know how to express it because of something... Whatever the reason is. (A good word to describe all of that is a Japanese anime term: tsundere!)
