Adam Lambert: Fever Meaning
Fever Lyrics
My baby walks so slow
Sexual tic-tac-toe
Yeah, I know we both know
It isn?t time
But would you be m-mine
We?ll never get too far
Just you, me and the bar
Silly monage e trois sometimes
Would he be m-mine (2x)
Would you be...

Does anyone understand what he means by "but your moms not home" and then he says how he's sick of laying down alone? Well, what is somebody's mom to do with this...? I've been searching everywhere for an answer and I want someone's opinion or something.
-
I don't get why everyone thinks the menage-a-trois is about a third person. It's clear in the lyrics.
/Just you, me and the bar/
/Silly menage-a-trois, sometimes/
It's like a "threesome" between him, the guy and the bar.
/Just you, me and the stars/
/Kinda menage-a-trois, sometimes/
They're gettin' it on in his car under the starts.

Anyway this song is pretty straight-forward, he wants to bang a dude *cough*TJ*cough*. ;) -
I have to agree with the other interpretations, but I think it could be directed towards a straight guy *cough-cough--Tommy the bass-guitarist--cough-cough* :P Anyways, he talked about a sexual tic tac toe and it not being time which I think could mean he's trying to win over someone sexually and in the case of the straight guy, to get him to convert, hence the fact that its not the time. Lastly, menage et trois means three-way, so it could mean there's a girl involved as well and the singer (Adam) is trying to win over the straight guy from the girl. He even asks if a guy will be his.

WEll I think its him being all hot and bothered (if ya know what i mean ;D) and hes saying to someone (boyfriend i guess??) that he wants to...you know..."SWEAT OUT" the fever ;D
and menage et trois means three way so lolllll
