Aerosmith: Crazy Meaning
Song Released: 1994
Crazy Lyrics
You know you drive me up a wall the way you make good on all the nasty tricks you pull
Seems like we're makin' up more than we're makin' love
And it always seems you got somn' on your mind other than me
Girl, you got to change...

#1 top rated interpretation:The meaning of this song is pretty darn obvious to me. It's about a man who is in love with a wild woman who plays with his heart constantly. Examples from the lyrics:
"You know you drive me up a wall the way
You make good on all the nasty tricks you pull"
"Say you're leavin' on a seven thirty train and
That you're headin' out to Hollywood
Girl you been givin' me that line so many times
It kinda gets like feelin' bad looks good"
No matter how much she says she wants to leave him, go to Hollywood, yadda yadda, he stays with her because he loves her. And he knows, deep down, that she'll never leave. I think he's also attracted to that wildness like a moth to a flame: it can burn him bad, but it's oh so pretty. Examples:
"That kinda lovin'
Makes me wanna pull
Down the shade" -
A song about a woman driving a man crazy, yet he loves her so he stays.
-
It's about a man who loves a woman even though she is a bad influence. It corresponds with crying.
-
Every Aerosmith song is either about sex or drugs. Steven never writes about it directly; its all metaphors. Crazy isn't about a break up with a woman, its about his "break up" with drugs.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
