Back in the Saddle Lyrics
I'm back in the saddle again
I'm back
I'm back in the saddle again

I hate to disagree with all you people who think this is a drug song, but Steven Tyler has said it was about sex. He thought that 'Back in the Saddle' meant have sex more than once with your girl. So he wrote a song about a cowboy riding into town to get a prostitute (Sukie Jones, mentioned in the song), and getting laid. His 'pistol' is his penis, not a syringe. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I thought it would be obvious to everyone that this song is about finding & using drugs. “I'm loading up my pistol.” Makes reference to a syringe. The saddle is the thing that wraps around the arm before injection.“ I really gotta feel some” is self explanatory. People think it's about sex? Listen again. Aerosmith's drug past is common knowledge among rock veterans.

This song is about finding and injecting heroin.
“Looking for Suki Jones she Crazy horse Saloon.” I'm riding, I'm loading up my pistol.” is an obvious reference to a syringe. I really gotta feel some. Aerosmith's drug past is no secret. Their sobriety isn't either. -
It means two things.
1.) Getting back on your feet.
2.) Getting laid again. (Used by men)
Well, not sure if that's accurate, but that's what I have read. -
Song is a great song! Nothing inappropriate!
