Alessia Cara: Here Meaning
Song Released: 2015
Here Lyrics
I'm sorry if I seem uninterested
Or I'm not listenin' or I'm indifferent
Truly, I ain't got no business here
But since my friends are here
I just came to kick it but really
I would...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song talks about how the Alessia Cara might have been forced into the wrong crowd. It talks about being in a party or club and how she dosen’t really want to be there. Alessia Cara was responsible and didn’t do the illegal stuff. She feels like she can’t leave the party.

2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:I honestly think it means she is in an unknown place with people she doesn't even know, nor they do care about her. They are doing inappropriate/crazy things like doing drugs/drinking underage/gossiping. So then, she decides she wants to isolate herself, but can't for some particular reason that is also unknown. The reason may have been because she found it "interesting." But she finally catches herself in the chorus and hook that she decides to get away from the "craziness," and picks a spot, "here." As in, away from all of the drama.
This is just what I've interpreted. I'm not all the way sure, I've just stated what came to mind in relation of the song, "Here," by Alessia Cara. -
I guess she must have been in an uncomfortable party and dont want to leave cause her friends are there also. But she gat no choice she had to leave the party as it didnt go the way she thought it would go
-
Maybe this song is about a boy hitting on her at some certain event, you know the lyrics, "I don't need a boyfriend", you know it means that someone could be hitting on her.
-
Honestly I feel that Alessia is an introvert and doesn't like the atmosphere she's in but is there because her friends are. She's hanging in there as long as she can yet wants to go ASAP because this party isn't just her scene. I can totally relate being an ISFJ. Who knows?? Maybe she's one too. :)
-
I think that here talks about the third wheel theory which means that alessia talks about how her friends having fun and forgeting about her existance in the chrous she sings a lot about letting her friends know thatshe is there sitting and waiting for her friends to invite her to whatever theyre doing
-
I think it's about how she is at this party with people doing crazy stuff, a boy is hitting on her when she doesn't need a guy and she feels she cannot relate to anything that is happening.
-
I think it means that she feels out of place and doesn’t know why she’s here her friends convinced her to come and she does what or who she fits in with but she knows that this not her kinda sene she doesn’t like party’s she likes to chill and about stuff that maters to life not party her life away.
-
I think this song is about being at a party that is not enjoyable at all. Alessia is saying she just isn't interested in that type of entertainment. She were prefer simply spending time with friends.
-
I believe that this song's true meaning is that even though lots of people are doing bad stuff you don't have to join. Although you may go these things doesn't mean you have to be part of it. You can isolate yourself and not be included and what's going on.
-
I think its about her friends that were invited to a party thrown by a butch of stupid teens that are doing some bad stuff like against the law bad, but Alessia is being really responsible and not decides to not be a participant in the drama. She sits in the corner and feels like she can't leave the "party" because her friends are there, therefore doing bad things with all the other teenagers.
