Reflektor Lyrics

Trapped in a prison,
in a prism of light.
Alone in the darkness,
a darkness of white.
We fell in love,
alone on a stage,
in the reflective age.

Entre la nuit, la nuit et l'aurore.
Entre le royaume des vivants et des...

Its about the current age, which he calls the reflective age. Throughout the song there is a theme of a nonreality. The prison of light is the computer screen. We are connected but are we even friends? There is reference to plastic and to bits which supports the the idea that its about technology (bits are informaton) There are mirors everywhere in the video. A reflection in a mirror looks real but its not. He is saying that the relationships we have through technology are the same. They only have an apearance of reality.

maybe the part where he sings "just a reflection of a reflection ofa reflection" is supposed to mean he found out he was narcissistic or something...

the first stanza is saying that the two people were alike yet different and fell in love. the french part means "between life and death, between dawn and dusk". after that the guy is saying that everything is meaningless w/o his beloved. the chorus is greek to me, so just put that aside. the second stanza means the two people are growing more distant despite the long bond they had.
after the second french part means that he can only rest with his beloved by his side. i don't know about the rest
