    It feels like Ariana is being controlled by her boyfriend, and she wants to get way from him, but I think it has a more ariana's real-life related meaning, where she is trying to get away from her labels put on her, like being innocent, or childish, or weak. She is trying to "break free" and show todays society that even though she was a nickelodeon star, she can still be like any other famous star.
