   this song compares driving a car to working towards a relationship. a girl remembers when the couple was in "honeymoon avenue", basically the "honeymoon stage" of a relationship and how perfect it was. she can tell that the relationship is going downhill and asks her partner to save the relationship before they "crash" and are unable to make the relationship work.

   What I think about honeymoon avenue: I think it's about Ariana's relationship with her boyfriend crashing and burning before her eyes, and her wanting to save it. I also think that it's about how she misses when they were in the "honeymoon stage"- a stage of peace in most every relationship.
