Black Eyed Peas: Where is the love? Meaning
Where is the love? Lyrics
People livin' like they ain't got no mamas
I think the whole world addicted to the drama
Only attracted to things that'll bring you trauma
Overseas, yeah, we try to stop terrorism
But we still got terrorists...

I think the writers are trying to open the eyes of Americans. It points to hypocrisy that is prevalent in the United States; 'do as I say, not as I do.' It says that yes, people in other countries do bad but look at what WE are doing here. We are oppressing each other. We kill each other. We kill children in other countries (collateral damage). It makes the comment that we aren't getting the truth from mainstream media or our government. There is more to the world than what you see on TV. It is a reminder that love dispells anger. Look to the peacemakers. It is a hope that things will change.

I think this song is about love, war and discrimination in the world. Choosing lover over hate, not discriminating others because of their own race. How we only have one world, and how people are destroying it, not helping it.

I think the meaning is in the song. This world is full of hatred and no one cares about anyone but themselves. That's my interpretation.

This song is about love and war. Some people decide that war is the answer. like Japan in World War 2. Some people believe that things should be talked out like Woodrow Willson at the end of World War 1. (league of nations) and some people believe that things just shouldn't be talked about and just, whoever is causing the problem should die.

It's about not doing bad things it's also about how people are judging them because of their race.
-
It is about making peace not war.
It is also about poverty in countries.
they are asking you to help fight war-not literaly- with words and to help fight poverty
