Back in the days , black people weren't allowed to go to war for many reasons like : 1) they don't love the nation that much .2) they aren't smart enough . 3) they might use their weapons to take revenge against us . So there was a group of black people who named themselves buffalo soldiers , they took their weapons and participated in the world war two even thought all the difficulties they were facing, they were noticeable until there was a new order that required them to have a red mark in the tail of their planes they were also known as the ( red tail) . Like Bob Marley stated : I'm a buffalo soldier , stolen from Africa brought to America, Fighting on a rival fighting for survival. So he wrote this song to compliment the buffalo soldiers but also to compliment himself as a buffalo soldier because many attempts to kill him were failed .
