    I feel like this song fits right in with anyone who deals with adhd as well, always living life comparing yourself to other the fact that you can’t do as much as other people can, and keep stumbling back to any addiction your dealing with which makes you feel weak, powerless and mad the fact that you can’t conquer it..Mental illness makes you feel all the emotions Tom speaks about in this song

    This was a concept album write about 9/11. When I first listened to it I thought it was about the end of the world as well. My second time through a couple songs in particular stood out, loike the last track w/ Mark hoppus. Listen to it with the WTC in mind.

    (This is just my personal point of view of this song) I picture this song as a depressed teenager who doesn't know how to express his/her feelings and they're just confused and don't know how to handle life anymore with all of these emotions, everybody expects them to do better in life and they want to as well but they don't know how and think that they should just give up. I interpreted the song this way because this is how I feel and I don't know how to express it.

    idk i heard that this whole album is about a boy during the end of the world, thats what people have told me, kinda makes sense

    I remember this song, and the video.

    Using the video kinda as a reference and going through the lyrics I think it maybe about what a child might go through emotionally when abused/molested. Being hurt and not knowing what to do is a very scary and confusing thing.

    This is just my interpretation so take it as you will.

    You could probably make this song about anything that your disappointed about. But I think this is about someone wishing they were very different to make the world better and that they had the power and courage to do, what they want to.

    I don't think it's about the war in Iraq cause I'm pretty sure this song was written before then.

    I think this is about a guy going to war in Iraq leaving his family or girlfriend behind. With the "Government is lying" is about how he doesn't believe in the war. Also "When will this be over" He is wondering when his enlistment will be up
