Box Car Racer: Letters To God Meaning
Letters To God Lyrics
all worked up
the air is as dark and cold as night
let me go
i'm not done
I swear i'll take just one life time
And I, I won't lie
I won't sin
maybe I don't wanna go
can't you wait?
maybe I don't wanna go
I...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:This is about a person who is telling God they don't want to die, maybe because they're about to. They're saying they're not done on earth and they don't wanna go yet, that they promise not to lie or sin. They're feeling regretful because they never prayed to God or anything before and now they wish they had.
-
It's about a young person who has realised that he is going to die, but he does not want to, he begs god to give him one more chance, just one lifetime. Throughout the song, the writer becomes very emotional with his pleads, regretting not helping as he could have "at least a fucking thousand times before" And he makes an offer to god, to try to get into heaven, though he fears that his offer is not enough.
-
It's about a person that was caught off guard and doesn't want to leave yet because there are still things left to do and that he won't lie and sin that he doesn't want to go. He is just asking God for one last chance.
P.S. I think this song is really sweet.
P.S.S HEY THEY ARE MISSING I FEEL SO!!! :(
