Logan To Government Center Lyrics

Consider this a letter that I never sent
However inconsiderate it seems
Do you still consider me,
consider me the boy you laughed with
or that you learned to live without?... I suck,
I know I'm late,
I know you waited

You wouldn't get me...

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently mehperad by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

Most obviously, this song is about a girl from Boston, or at least the New England area. Logan is the name of the airport in Boston, and Government Center is an area in downtown Boston. "You're what makes New England so great."

It appears that there was some sort of flirting or interaction or failed attempts to win over this girl on Jesse's part. He says his "[Long] Island nights are all spend dying / wait for summer to become wrought with lips, my wishful thinking."

When he travels to Boston/New England, he looks forward to seeing this girl, and taking their relationship to an intimate level (perhaps a level he has previously failed to reach?) Jesse writes, "let my hands stray past the boundaries of your back and get to you breathing and get this started."
