A Celebration Upon Completion Lyrics
because his eyes were bright and round
and no amount of time or liquor could dull them
my grandmother's name was joy
because it spilled out of her heart
and bathed her precious children in its warmth

This is obviously about Conor's or maybe someone else's grandparents. He describes their love in the most poetic way possible. He mentions their talented and loving hearts and all the things they've helped him with. At the end though, the lyrics read "the moon is gone and the sun has took it's place", referring from the beginning when he said, "My grandfather's name was moon. because his eyes were bright and round." In these lyrics, Conor is telling us that they've passed. But they still live on in hope, love, and tranquility.
