Okay, first I want to let you guys know that this is a valentine's day song and ironically enough it is a song that we should be aware about when we listen to it.
The song reminds me of a Monster High character who has brought popularity beyond her fans and yes this character is the werecat who we see as the villain in the show as a whole. Toralei Stripe.
This psycho bitch is the song as a whole and she represents a lifeform that we call love but in a horrid way.
In the episode Toralei's Valentine we see that Toralei has a crush on a human from another school and she wants to be with him forever.
It doesn't stop there though
She finds him in the hallways by himself and right before you know it cupid's arrow comes into play and strikes the two of them in the ass.
I like where this is going.
The two of them instantly fall for each other and throughout the rest of the episode we see them hugging snuggling making out and shit.
So yeah the episode is quite a wast if you put it together and this is basically why people of the modern era see this song as really fucked up -
It's about Britney thinking love is just a game and kind of messing with this one guy.
"But that doesn't mean that I'm serious"
That line is just saying that she's not taking her relationship seriously.
"Oops, I did it again"
"I played with your heart"
She messed with her "boyfriend's" heart again.
"That I'm sent from above"
"I'm not that innocent"
That guy thinking that Britney was sent from haven and that she's not all angel-like. -
she made a guy think she likes him but she doesn't
