Bullet For My Valentine: P.O.W. Meaning
P.O.W. Lyrics
A place where there's no light
I'm trapped here in this nightmare
And there's no end in sight
My body lies here frozen
No voice to scream or shout
Escape, it feels untouchable
I know I must get out
Wake my...
Wake...

I'm sure this isn't what the song is actually about, but for me it perfectly sums up being a prisoner of addiction. I am 600 days sober from heroin today, and am currently 5 days without any methadone whatsoever. I am clearly in withdrawal, I feel like I'm dying, and there isn't a light at the end of the tunnel at the moment. This song helps me to get through this hell. This seemingly never ending nightmare.

For me, this song is about Depersonalization, feeling trapped inside a dream (it really is a nightmare) but I cant get out, no matter how or how hard I try Im still trapped in this nightmare, feels like im dreaming, like im dead and I want to feel real again but I cant!
