I think that this song means when someone has a really ugly personality and uses it to get what they want, kind of thing.
For example, they are really good looking and they try to use that to get things they want or whatever.
Also, it's hard to find people who are pretty on the outside as well as in so i'm guessing that's the point he's trying to put across.
Overall, this song is so amazing and really relates to a person I used to know. Great song!
