Cavetown: Talk to Me Meaning
Talk to Me Lyrics
It doesn't make you a narcissist to love yourself
It feels like nothing is easy it'll never be
That's alright, let it out, talk to me
You don't have to be a prodigy to be unique
You don't have to...

#1 top rated interpretation:The artist that goes by Cavetown has a few medical issues such as depression and anxiety. This song shows that the artist is having a hard time in life, and that the artist is saying that anyone that has these problems, don’t just hold them in, and let them take over you, talk to someone, find someone who you can really trust, find someone who you will tell everything to and not just some details and not the others, find someone who is willing to listen, find someone who loves you the way you love them, and lastly to find someone who will be with you every step of the way no matter what type of a path you take.

#2 top rated interpretation:Cavetown songs really saved me. The song "talk to me" is one of my remedies. For me, who have been experienced being lost, lonely, and problematic - the lyrics of the song is such a way of chance to realize something. Something that you need to hold on whenever you are in really tough times. Also, I think the song is not just about how you deal with some sh*ts in life. Well, real sh*ts happens. It is also embracing yourself and not to push yourslef so hard for anyone. When sad time comes, the anxiety and noise in your head get along together - you feel like nobody is there for you. The lyrics "That's alright, let it out, and talk to me", gives you a little help to overcome your battles. It's funny how I sadly laugh with this line. It's just giving me a chance to forgive myself from being too mad at my sorroundings and stuffs. Also, I just want to say that - I recommended it to my friends. I love every songs of Robbie. That's why.

#3 top rated interpretation:Talk to me truely is a great song that intupets the fact that life ain’t always gonna be all happily ever after and I love you’d for everyone and just really coming to terms with your own mental health problems and truly facing and embracing them anxiety tossing turning in your sleep is so accurate to a lot of people that have random ass panic attacks at night and has such a deep and emotional attachment as to try and relate to the listener as they spill out they’re problems and try to cope with all the shit that’s happening and he offers different ways of communication bc if you really wanna know what truly hits hard. After explaining your problems then when finished deeply thinking about what you have just said as you had just surfaced a whole but load of feelings and unconscious fears that you had either completely forgotten about or trued to then you slowly start to break down realising how messed up you think you are and that’s why he offers different options we can talk here on the floor for those who would need physical support to this type of Situation or on the phone if u prefer for those who would rather have verbal support and there are so many other references but this is already way too long in summary the song is very supporting and loveable
