Chameleon Circuit: Big Bang Two Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Big Bang Two Lyrics
Amy might be dead, and Rory's a
Roman with a gun inside his hand -
Seems like things aren't going as planned.
River's in the TARDIS.
The TARDIS is on fire.
She's feeling the heat,
On repeat, she'll...
-
For any Whovian, this song needs no interpretation.
For non-whovians, this song is about the 'Second Big Bang'. River, Rory, The Doctor, Amy, and the TARDIS are all from the episode, as well as many of the words and even the fez (which the doctor looks amazing in). The song describes how the Doctor saves the Universe from being destroyed by flying the Pandorica into his exploding TARDIS after saving Amy and River, and after his fez is shot off his head. He fades from existence, but is brought back when Amy remembers him on her wedding day: hence the line 'something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.' This line clearly describes the TARDIS. -
River's stuck in the exploding TARDIS, but it's exploding on repeat, the Doctor's stuck in the Pandorica, Rory's stuck in Roman times, and Amy might be dead. Doctor gets ahold of River's vortex manipulator, they save Amy, save River from the exploding TARDIS which is actually the sun, the Doctor dies, but then he's not dead because he leaves and no one remembers him. But then Amy remembers something old (the TARDIS), something new (the TARDIS), something borrowed (the TARDIS), and something blue (the TARDIS). And she remembers the doctor.
Oh yeah, and the Doctor was rocking a fez the whole time, but then River had to shoot it. -
Tells the story of the last episode of Doctor Who's season 5. The episode is very mind-boggling hence the ironic "I hope it didn't confuse you"
