Death and All His Friends Lyrics

All winter we got carried away
Over on the rooftops, let's get married
All summer we just hurried
So come over, just be patient, and don't worry
So come over, just be patient, and don't worry

So come over, just be patient, and don't...

This song is - like a few others by coldplay - about belief. The song is adressed directly to the person, who listens to the song. The song wants the listener to start believing in god.
All winter we got carried away
Over on the rooftops, let's get married
    All summer we just hurried
Coldplay sings about the marriage in an abstract way: god is there in all 4 seasons and we - or all the humans - should "marry" him or go to church. The invitation for joining the religion is:
"So come over, just be patient, and don't worry
So come over, just be patient, and don't worry
So come over, just be patient, and don't worry
    And don't worry"
The song wants to say, that god will let us loose all our worries.
    "Try
    Try
    Try
Try" with that the song says, that we should try believing in god and "taste" the christian relgion.
"No I don't want to battle from beginning to end
I don't want a cycle of recycled revenge
I don't want to follow Death and all of his friends"
And here the singer itself talks to god as a confirmation of his strong belief and tells us, that life without god is a battle from beginning to end and a life full of revenges and that he doesen't want hisself and neither us to follow death and all the other bad things.

I'm sorry for my english, I'm from germany. (not that i would be proud of it.)
