Frankly, no matter what the inspiration was for this song, I think of only one thing. The beautiful life giving light of that beautiful life giving star of ours that we call the sun. Why do we always have to boil it down to romantic love. You are light as a butterfly and heavy as a rock. Like a storm out the stars in my blood and it's all because of you my love. When you laugh its like a light that fills me up. I am so utterly inspired by this song. For me it surpasses what most can fathom and few dare to think about. Of course the album was released when I was becoming aware of the consciousness of the sun. Out of the corner of my eye, I caught you walk by, I chase you down, as if I could ever stop. When I am old and breaking apart . . .

Honestly, these words could so easily be part of what one spouse says to another during their vows. If I ever get to have the man I truly want, this will be my vows to him! I’ve waited so long to have him, I just hope we can be together like this….

This will be the song I walk down the aisle to at my wedding. This is the beginning of forever. The part at the end of the song where dave sings “I still need you so” is the part I see myself hugging my dad to give me away. I think Dave wrote this song with thoughts of his wife and his proposal and wedding days as well His daughters as well. This was going to be a first dance song but I think it’s extra fitting to walk down the aisle to.
