Man and woman marry and have three children all girls. Man doesn't love his wife and only touches her to procreate. He cheats taking his lover to an island as she (the woman)plans the wedding of one or more of their children. It does sort of sound like she committed suicide or either was severely depressed since they keep asking why are you so sad. The lover could be male since he has no interest in the wife besides making babies. I don't really know. I love the song
