   Never really paid much attention to these lyrics but now that I myself am moving on, now I hear loud and clear, it's just sbout getting courage to go on without your "mate" ....the one line, "we live our life in chains,and we never know we have the key" is a powerful statement. I, myself, thought I was unable to make it on my own, but I CAN AND I WILL MAKE IT!!!

   It's a song about someone in a bad relationship that figured out they can live without the other person. If you want it to be an abusive relationship, that's your choice but it seems to me it's about moving on, and telling the other one you're going to be just fine. It has some kick ass lines. From and then you'll have to eat your lunch all by yourself. ToJust remember this my girl when you look up in the sky you can see the stars but can not see the light (kind of rules out it being from a female perspective) to so often times it happens that we live our lives in chains and we never even know we have the key. Which means they stayed even though they could have walked away at any time, but it took them hearing some people talking the other day about putting them on a shelf. Then got mad and said I got some news for you, as many of us would have done hearing we were going to get dumped. Not really designed a deep song, it just lays it out there. I will sing this victory song isn't about violence it's just them winning and dumping the other one first, because how can the other one leave when I'm already gone? My interpretation done pecking on a phone on break. Lol
