In my own personal opinion, this song (and many other EYB songs) are quite self-explanatory. But I'll offer my thoughts. This song honestly is so sweet, it makes me wish I was doing what they talk about doing-getting away from the bustling metropolis and hangin' out around a fire and singing songs. He says "It was always the love songs every time...the ones I remember most...always the love songs," which I infer means, well, the songs they sing are all important, but the ones sung through the heart are the ones that stick. :)
