Evanescence - Made of Stone Meaning

Song Released: 2011
Made of Stone Lyrics
like I care.
I can see your lips moving.
I've just learned not to hear.
Don't waste your time.
Its never enough for you, baby.
Don't want to play your game anymore - no matter what you say.
I'm all out of love for you,...
-
I think it's about breaking up with someone and trying to banish any feelings for them but if you keep doing it you will end up with a heart made of stone. great song:)
-
My interpretation of the song is about being fed up w/ the person your w/ and that your just done with the relationship and eventhoigh it hurts your gonna numb the pain and moving on......
-
This song is about going through a breakup and trying not to let yourself care about the person who broke your heart because they don't feel the same way about you. If you try to "numb the pain" like this, you're going to end up being cold and unfeeling as if you're "made of stone."
-
One of the best of the album. Great to sing to someone like she describes. God, how can one relate to "I will still remember when you've long forgotten me"!
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
