Falling in Reverse: Tragic Magic Meaning
Tragic Magic Lyrics
Verse 1:
So lets rewind

2005 i almost died
i overdosed
i did not know
that i provoked
This evil ghost
Disaster
Chorus:
Magically i turned
tragedy into melodies
Over catchy beats

omg these comments are from 2012 lol. so basically this song is about how etf betrayed Ronnie. Ronnie was pissed at Escape The Fate, but mostly Max Green during this era. He felt betrayed and upset because he thought Craig was trying to steal his spotlight and copy him. he has referenced some Escape The Fate songs in this album, and in this song he references 10 Miles Wide. (its a bop btw) oh yeah back to Max and Ronnie. Max didn't stick by Ronnie's side when Ronnie went to prison. their friendship ended and Ronnie was pretty pissed with Max and the rest of etf. this song is basically shoving all of the etf/fir beef in etf's face lol. but.. its been like almost 10 years and etf and fir are friends. they've been on two tours together (i think lol) also Max has a band called Violent New Breed just in case ya didnt know. k byee
oh yeah stream carry on lol -
So lets rewind
back to the time
2005 i almost died

This evil ghost
This is referring to the event that landed Ronnie in jail and got him kicked out of ETF
Magically i turned
tragedy into melodies
Over catchy beats
it comes so naturally
so smooth and casually
thats why they call me king
of the music scene
Lala lalala...
The chorus is explaining the entire point of this song: Ronnie is saying that even with all that he's been through he has come through and bettered himself from it.
I dug a hole 10 miles wide
so i can throw all of you inside
you're such a dumb fuck
you need to shut up
you bring a picture of me every time you get your
haircut
IMPOSTER!
Ronnie is upset with being so easily replaced and is referencing one of the songs ETF has made without him: 10 Miles Wide. When he says "you bring a picture of me every time you get your haircut IMPOSTER!" he is angry with Craig for trying to become what he once was
Oh, bruised and broken,
my eyes are opened
I won't lose focus,
my eyes are open
Can you see
in the distance?
Can you see
The resistance?
We will rise,
rise against them
From the start,
rise against them
Ronnie is again stating that he will come out on top of all of this even though he has been through a lot
If you know the story these lyrics are really easy to interpret -
I think this song is about a couple things. In the first verse, Ronnie is obviously taking a look at his past, talking about how he overdosed on drugs and not knowing the effect it would have. The "evil ghost" he provoked it, to me, Escape the Fate and all the lies they've told about him, all the stuff they've started. Mostly the song is about Escape the Fate, specifically Craig Mabbit. Craig does try to copy Ronnie in a lot of ways. In the breakdown, he talks about how he's been hurt, and its effected him greatly, but hes keeping his eyes open and looking to the future, and saying how FIR will overcome the hatred from ETF and Ronnie's mistakes, about how they wont let it effect them. And "I've turned tragedy into catchy beats." It took me awhile to figure this part out. But he's saying how he turned the tragedy of him going to drugs, and the tragedy of everything EFT put him through, into something he could write songs about, hence a lot of the songs of FIR's album.

You can tell it is about ETF with the start of Verse 2 "I dug a hole 10 miles wide" 10 Miles Wide is a track from ETF's first album without Ronnie, This War Is Ours
-
Its about how Craig Mabbit tries to look and act like him. when truth be told, Craig will NEVER be as good as Ronnie, becuas ein reality, he's just a back stabbing wanna-be.
Also how them stabbing him in the back didnt make him fall, it made him stronger, and no matter what they do or say, ROnnie will remain standing. -
This is pretty much Ronnie's way of shoving all the shit that went down between he and Escape the Fate, back in their faces. Plus he's rather cocky, which is okay, he can back it up.
:D -
It's about escape the fate u dicks.
