Falling in Reverse: Game Over Meaning
Game Over Lyrics
My life is like a video game,
Trying hard to beat the stage.
All while I am still collecting coins.
Trying hard to save the girl,
Obstacles, I'm jumping hurdles.
I'm growing up to be a big boy.
I battle with the evil...
-
honestly can someone tell me what "sorry your princess is not here" means. ive been really confused about it.
-
From what I heard this song is literally about war. But I just thought that it was about video games lol.
-
I believe its a metaphor for life "my life is life "my life is like a video game" " trying hard to beat the stage" trying to be successful "all wial I'm still collecting coins (reference to Mario)" greed for money
-
The meaning I believe, is that he wants his life to be like a video game. Very black and white, clear objective and there are obstacles, however he will overcome them. He wants his life to be like the game, even though that is unrealistic, "So stop playing and open up your eyes." Then he accepts that life cannot be that way so just to enjoy it!

He's saying life will give u a hard time but you will get through it.He's also saying you only have one life so make it a good one,if its not change it. From the lyrics "Stop complaining ,and start changing it".
