Halestorm: Mz. Hyde Meaning
Mz. Hyde Lyrics
I’m your sweetheart,
You’re goody-two-shoes prude is a work of art.
But you don’t know me,
And soon you won’t forget,
Bad as can be, yeah you know I’m not so innocent
Better beware I go bump in the night,
Devil-may-care...

#1 top rated interpretation:Well, Robert Louis Stevenson's novel Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is about a man with two personalities in the same body. Mr. Hyde is the evil persona.
Basically, Mz. Hyde is kind of like a twist on the original story, except it's about Lzzy's split personality. She can play the goody-two-shoes prude easily, although most of the time she can be a devil. -
We all have a good side, and a dark side. Lizzy can just embrace her dark side. We choose which side to let show at any time, and some people try to deny their dark side even to themselves.
This song is about showing the good side when necessary, and embracing the dark side in private. -

This song is my soon to be x wife to tee. Take it more bout women with multiple personality disorder. This song is heather period. Great wife at times but mostly the devil himself 90% of the time. So sad for me but she plays the victim
