   Ville explained that his friend, brandon novak, was completely addicted to heroin. He was once arrested and finally hit rock bottom. Ville asked why he was doing this to himself, and brandons simple answer was, "it was the only way to kill the loneliness"

   Wrong. On multiple ocassions in multiple interviews ville ( the singer) has said it is about a close friend( brandon novak). Brandon was on heroin and god knows what else and relapsed numerous times. Ville has said he asked novak why he does it and he said it was a way for him to kill his lonliness.That is why ville wrote the song.

   This song may sound like it's about a generic lonely person, but according to lead singer Ville Valo, he wrote it about his close friend Brandon Novak, who used to be a junkie, a user of heroin. Novak called heroin "His Companion" and blamed his addiction on the need to "Kill His Loneliness," since he was abandoned by his family.

   Its about a toxic relationship is what I get. I guess the drug thing makes sense but I get alot of vibes about being in a toxic relationship. Words said to start a war means constant arguing. Venomous kiss is a kiss from the person and the venomous helps to identify that its coming from someone who has a toxic impact on you. Idk just I'm interpreting it that way.

   This song is probably about how somebody is fighting to get of drugs with a friend or a lover "killing loneliness with you" and the lyrics "With the venomous kiss you gave me " the effect the drugs have had on him.

    everyone says it's about brandon novak; which may be true . but to me it's something different . to me this song is about how this guy has had love troubles in his life, and there was always that one girl who pushed the pain away and killed his loneliness, the girl he's in love with .

    Anyone who says this song is based on love is wrong, in a way. It based on Villes fried Brandon Novak who was a huge heroin attic who relapse more then once, and he asked Novak why he used the heroin and he replied because it "killed te loneliness" he was feeling. Novak I think is doing better now. This is a great song

    In an interview, Ville said that the meaning to Killing Loneliness is he knew a guy who was troubled. Nothing ever went his way in life, he eventually became homeless. He eventually committed suicide. By killing himself, he killed his loneliness.

    I love the song...i do. It's touching right down to my soul. That's why if felt like interpreting this was easy for me. I don't so much think that he found a 'person.' Maybe he just found peace. you know? I mean in all honesty it could be a person but maybe he found a way around all the troubling shit in his head and his life and now he's killing loneliness with his peace. Meaning his peace is giving him the flexibility to LIVE and not be pulled down by his impending depression.
    
    I'm very deep about it I know but that's what I think.

    All of you are wrong. This song is about Brandon Novak who is a frequent heroin user. If you have ever seen some episodes of VIVA LA BAM then you have probably seen him. Anyway, he was put in rehab to get off the drug but he's gottem kicked out because he was found with heroin pills on him.. Ville just says that he is killing himself now....killing loneliness means he's killing his loneliness every time he takes heroin because being lonely (or suicidal) is a side effect of heroin.

    I think this is a song about a young dog that is sad because the Broncos are having major defensive line troubles. Either that or it could be about the time in a man's life when he craps his pants at work and has to throw his undies away in the dumpster out back.
