Keep Breathing Lyrics

"Keep Breathing"

The storm is coming but I don't mind
People are dying, I close my blinds

All that I know is I'm breathing now

I want to change the world
Instead I sleep
I want to believe in more than you and me

But all that I know is I'm...

I think it's about, yeah awful things happen in the world but you can't make the world good if you aren't good yourself. And that if you're not good that that's OK. Sometimes you can't save the world but you can continue to breathe, and for you that is enough. People say that the world has bigger problems but we can't fix those problems before we can be ok ourselves.

    I think it’s a commentary on compassion
And allowing m yourself to fell the enormity of tragedy. Bringing yourself back to your breath is the best form of self regulation and self care when making such space for the suffering of others!

I think it’s about everything in the world and sometimes it can just be too much. Sometimes you have to just breath and now that eventually it will work out. There are some things that are too big to change. You can sometimes feel so small and like you can’t do anything

I related it with depression or losing somebody or going through heartbreak and feeling the overwhelming sensation of sadness and feeling it hit you and feeling numb and not knowing what to do because there isn't really nothing to do but taking it on step at a day cause "all we can do is keep breathing" and breathing, the seconds will turn into days and into weeks and soon time will heal all wounds. And one day it won't hurt anymore but until then we keep breathing....

I think this song is meant to be from the perspective of someone in a coma. They want to change the world but cannot physically move and can only sleep and keep breathing.

I think that it's about someone who lives in a bad world where there is bombing and storms and this young kid is trying to stay strong and tries to change the world but knows it won't work

I sort of related it to depression personally. Things are happening in the world but all we want to do is sleep. We want to change the world, and hope for something more but we don't know how to do anything about it and we feel stuck. But at least we're breathing.

It's about coping with loss by breathing.

I'm just suggesting, but I think this song is about having no idea what the future holds. The person wants to change the world and ultimately know what's going to happen to her but she can't do either, so she resorts to breathing to get through it.
