Crystal Ball Lyrics

Who is the man I see
Where I'm supposed to be?
I lost my heart, I buried it too deep
Under the iron sea

Oh, crystal ball, crystal ball
Save us all, tell me life is beautiful
Mirror, mirror on the wall

Lines ever more unclear
Not sure...

According to an interview, Tom said that it came out of the band's frustration with each other. They were having a tough time being on the road and working on their new album, and they just sort of blew up at each other, and Tim went off and wrote "Crystal Ball." But lyrically, the message appears to be just one of simple confusion with the world. Nothing seems to be working out right, and his whole life is falling apart right before his eyes. I think maybe it's just a general statement of "What's happening to my life? I'm falling apart."

Okay I think that this song is like a couple where the woman is having an affair with another man whilst her husband is at work....(well that's the idea I got off the video)..and basically he's trying to tell himself that everything's okay in life.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
