Lil Wayne: Mirror Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Mirror Lyrics
With everything happening today..
You don't know whether your coming or going but..
You think that your on your way
Life lined up on the mirror don't blow it..
Look at me when I'm talking to you..
You...

#1 top rated interpretation:It's quite inappropriate to only look at it from one point of view whereas we should have two perspectives to judge from, cuz the song features Bruno mars. Now let me explain the song from Bruno mars' perspective:::
"Mirror on the wall": He is talking about himself(which he sees on the mirror)
"Here we are again": He acknowledges the image in the mirror as himself( which is correct)
"Through my rise and fall, you've been my only friend": He is trying to say that although people would come to you during your rise and leave you during your fall, yourself(the inner person) will stick to you during your ups and downs.
"You told me that they can understand the man I am": the term 'you' here means himself( remember he is still talking to his reflection on the mirror); and 'they' means people\friends. So put together, He thought people would understand the man he was so he trusted people and accepted friends but they didn't.
"So why are we here talking to each other again": Having been disappointed and dumped by friends and acquaintance, he embraced himself. Literally it means, he having told himself to trust and move with people is now back to appreciate himself after being failed and disappointed by the people he was moving with.
NOTE that the song divided the person into two, the physical person referred to as 'i' and the inner personality or the soul referred to as 'you'. Throughout the song the 'i' and 'you' are used by both lil' Wayne and Bruno mars to refer to one entity.
This is and would remain my favorite song, it teaches a lot. My greatest desire is to feature or be featured by Bruno mars and Wayne. -

#2 top rated interpretation:The thing that catches me the most is the part when hè says ‘damn I look just like my fucking dad’ because Wayne never had a good bond with his real dad and i think that the song is about looking like someone you dont want to look like but you have Peace with it because you know you’re different than that person
Wayne you’re still the best rapper Alive and Will always stay the best rapper in the world -

#3 top rated interpretation:This song is saying that he struggles with being misunderstood. He feels like nobody can really feel his pain and struggles but him. He knows that success brings friends that aren't real. The deepest part in the song is that he says he's his only friend. Lonely and craving real love from his soul mate.

"To my rise and fall" he's talkin about he was the only person who was there for him he saw nobody else
-
I think he is trying to change, for the better, to become something better than he is thought to be. People think that this song is about drugs and other stuff but it isn't! He is talking about changing and trying to do better in his life.
-
It's about suddenly realizing you're as hateful as everyone around you. Hating your own imperfections. Realizing that your are unique, the only one. Suicidal ideations, attempt. You only have yourself.
-
I think that the song is really inspiring. After reading what each line of the song I go the actual meaning and realized what the song means. This is and will always remain my all time favourite.

This is also a symbolic representation of the war going on inside the mind.
Wars are bloody, red, deadly, black, and force a rebirth, white.
It takes so much courage to stand and fight. And the paradox, I am discovering, is....
How do you fight a friend.
In borderline personality disorder, for example,
Your subconscious overcompensated so much in your life that it can't find the shut off button and even minute issues cause the over stressed fight or flight response.
And you do unintentionally cause hurt relationships. At the end of this path lies isolation. And in isolation, who is there... your subconscious. The only part of you that never leaves. Yet caused this.
Now, transitioning from perspective of enemy to friend, creates an entirely new way to view life and paradoxically enables you to heal and Regain control.
Having viewed the subconscious as an enemy, a parasite for so long, it's going to take work. Again. To recalibrate your mind. To heal.
But each instance becomes a battle in the war.
And the eventual rebirth signifies the eventual understanding that is absolutely necessary to recover. To repair a fractured mind.
And the painting....which by all accounts used 3 colors and should have been a mess... created a perfectly formed mind.
Perfect is itself an unattainable standard to hold yourself to. But he said. B.p.
We took em to Mars this time.
So. B.p. borderline personality.
We took em to Mars this time.
This time. We didn't fight each other. This time we embraced our long thought of enemy or hindrance as our friend. Our power. And only by working together and talking it out can you become one with yourself and truly heal.
The hidden message hear, is so courageous and powerful. It taught me the path to transform my own life.
Thank you lil wayne. For standing your ground against your illness and showing others that you can overcome it.

Dwayne carter song mirror is a song of changing himself by looking at the mirror it reflect to him he need a change and in another way he is trying to say that nobody can understand him unless the mirror which he looks into coz only the can tell him he's real picture(u told me that they can understand the man i am)

Well most importantly Lil Wayne is definitely talking about himself. He is talking about his past life present life and future life he is telling himself you have been my #1 friend and will be. He doesn't want to go back to his past because it was difficult times. His present life he's proud of himself. He doesn't want to fail not only his family and friends but his fans. His future all he Hope's for is a good life. Even though he may think that the devil would tell him to do bad things. He in fact rather change the bad things and turn them into positive things by making awesome music and producing it to the public but He still stands with God but he worries that past life would get to him.

This is one of my childhood song so I want, to help people out on want the song about. So here we go red and black there, different but they mean some thing more than color or pride. RED:mean love, family, friend
,happness,and so much more.
Black:mean darkness,unhappness,unlove,no family,no friends,and much more.
That what I mean color is pride it is different it change that world thank you for reading this. It show that people change the world for the great or good. -
This song is about a man who is hating the worst parts of himself. A man who dislikes all the wrong in his life. Who wants to encourage young men and ladies to embrace yourself. Let the hatred parts of you fade, let the good, unique parts prosper. This song is saying that life is like a painting, messy, heartbreaking, and a struggle but what would life be if we didn't have problems. This song wants you to make mistakes because mistakes leads to learning and learning leads to a great life.
-
The song is talking about how when you are going through things or have things going on nobody's really going to be there for you but yourself. You can't trust or believe in anyone to understand your problems or situation you are going through. You have to count and believe in yourself . Nobody is gonna be there for you but yourself.
-
I think he is talking about how he had a hard life and how he says that I see my mum smile that's a blessing bcz maybe his mum never really smiled and that the man in the mirror aka him was his only friend and he is always there for himself.
