Song to me is about a friend/family member battling addiction and unfortunately not being able to help that person. Talking to yourself. That person you want to help more than anything in the world but you can’t. I lost my best friend when I was 21 due to a tragic bike accident and that was the worst day of my life. Seeing my brother fighting a heroin addiction for years and years is even more painful. Song let’s me know that I’m not alone that people out there are feeling the same way I am.
