Marilyn Manson: The Golden Age of Grotesque Meaning
The Golden Age of Grotesque Lyrics
we drive our deathcrush diamond Jaguar Limosines
We're not fantastic motherfuckers, but we play them on TV
It's a dirty word Reich, say what you like
It's a dirty word Reich, say what you like
We're the low Art...

The golden age of grotesque is America right now....
-
A time after Germany got the short end of the stick, after the end of WW1 'cause of the Traitors who sold out the Country from within. Then Berlin there started to become known as ''The Golden Age Of grotesque'' of a perverted Burlesque psychological shows of Homosexuallity and Prostitution that got out of control there known as ''little Babylon by The Sea''. Until Hitler and The Third REICH had them clean up their shitty acts that were part of the Dark Low Arts of what the Jesuit's Zionists knew about all to well that led Hitler to WW2 and the total loss of Berlin. But that only furthered ''The Golden Age Of Grotesque'' there and progressed Westward by Hollywood style and then bringing it back East for the rest of the World to See again and experience it. Who are sick and afraid not to become totally grotesque themselves in their perversion.

I've been reading through Nachtkabarett a lot, and considering all the references to Germany in the album ("Reich" were the German governments, being German for "empire") and the "obscene art" things...
"The Golden Age of Grotesque" is a celebration of oppressed art, freedom, obscenity. -
Curious song. . .with the freakish use of the word "Reich", I could have sworn this was about the Holocaust. But more theories surface after researching th song. It could also have to do with an artist being oppressed by people who hate art, which is Manson to the last detail.
Submit your theories here.
