Metro Station: Shake It Meaning
Shake It Lyrics
Yeah
Come on(shake shake)
I'll take you home if you don't leave me at the front door (Leave me at the front door)
Your body's cold but girl we're getting so warm
And I was thinking of ways that I could get inside(Get...

#1 top rated interpretation:Yes, I believe the song is about sex...but I think it is about a shy guy and this is his first time and hers too. You can tell he wants to get freaky but he is shy and nervous: (And I was thinking of places that I could hide, I could tell that you could tell that I was takin' my time).
I think this song also has another meaning behind it. Look past all the literal verses of sex and what is there? A young couple feeling alive and young. There's this vitality to them and it poses the question, when you're in love are you going to go with the flow and let it happen? Let youth happen. (When she does it like this, will you do it like that? When she touches like this, will you touch her right back?) -

#2 top rated interpretation:To put it simply: It's about sex. 'I'll take you home if you don't leave me at the front door' meaning he'll only take her home if she lets him come inside (Duh). 'If she moves it like this will you move her like that'? I mean come on. It's simple. He wants her to 'bump and grind' you could say. xD 'If she touches like this will you touch her right back', is obvious. He wants to be naughty, and touch her. 'Shake it' is also obvious. He wants to shake it. And he don't mean dancin'. =D If you listen to it carefully you might see now how it could be about sex. :3 Hope I could help!

#3 top rated interpretation:He sneaks into a morgue and fucks a dead body, end.

The guy sees her at a bar, drugs her (seizes) then he takes her back to the crematorium in which he works at then preforms sexual acts on her cold dead body.
-
Well it could be about... Doing it, but it could also be about going to a club. No wait, the lyrics say that thier "laying in bed and the clothes are right there" but then it could mean that he cheated on his wife :p
-
Ok, it IS about sex—but specifically about a guy who wants to watch a couple of girls get it on. That’s why he is asking her what she’ll do if SHE moves like this, etc. And it also explains the reference to the “straight stare” and why he wants to hide.

It is going to a club, getting drunk, going a random girls house, then banging her..
-
Okay, LISTEN UP, IDIOTS! This song isn't about "doing it" as most of y'all are saying. This is about going to a club and dancing, then going home and *ahem.* You have my point, right? ;)
-
Sex!!! He wants to take her home with him and throw off her clothes and have some nice sex!!! duh!
