The Climb Lyrics
That dream I’m dreaming but
There’s a voice inside my head sayin,

Every step I’m taking,
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction
My faith is shaking but I
Got to keep trying
Got to keep my...

#1 top rated interpretation:The song tells us that it isn’t just about what you achieve in life, but it is as important to consider the journey that you have made to get there and to learn and appreciate the experiences that you have been thorough on the way, she compares this battle of achieving your dream in life to climbing a mountain “Life’s a climb but the view is great”, she makes the audience become aware that they will be happy once they have achieved their dreams and goals, but looking at the journey that has got you there makes you appreciate it more.

#2 top rated interpretation:I think that this song focuses on the importance of the challenges in life. That it is important for people to be aware that life is full of difficulties, "there is always going to be another mountain, I'm always gonna wanna make it move". Also, to accept losing, it is okay to lose sometimes "sometimes I'm gonna have to lose". Furthermore, as they say, "easy come easy go" the struggles, hardships, and being outside your comfort zone will lead you to a successful life and these are the moments that you are going to remember most as Miley says "I may not know it, but these are the moments that I'm gonna remember most". Lastly, people assume that once they reach their goals they are going to be happier, yet this is not true because you need to enjoy the journey that made you achieve your goal.

This song has helped me though so much. Since my freshman year of field hockey. All of us as a team sang this song on our way to every game we had especially states and sectionals. Even after we lost at states and we’re all crying we would be crying to this song over the Bluetooth on the back of the bus. Tonight I’m using this song to help me determine whether I play field
Hockey for my senior year or not. -
If we want to succeed We need to understand the meaning of life and fight for change .

i think it is a great song that tells you not everything is going to be easy but it might be fun and you should never give up by the appearances of something

I wrote this song with Miley’s producer he’s from Nashville, and he wrote this with his wife and so me and his wife are going to do vocal production with Ben. Then he can be interested into music and recording with artists. Like Shaina and Dolly Parton, her grandmother. I love Dolly Parton she’s so sweet and kind and loving grandmother.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

I wanted to do the song with the producer, but he’s out of town. But we asked Michael Knox to produced this song for us, he’s so nice and talented, but Michael has a idea if writing music. But we’re going to the studio and see some arrangements to play but it’s gorgeous. The violins are very beautiful.

I think to the song I used to be, but I absolutely ive been praying every single days but it had to be it’s where the heart is but between those verses.

I cry wen I hear this song, to me it means I’ve done my best, inside my head I’m hearing, I’m never gonna reach it, never gonna achieve, I feel like every move & step I make takes me no where. My depression is getting the best of me, it’s winning.
