Motley Crue: Dr. Feelgood Meaning
Song Released: 1989
Dr. Feelgood Lyrics
He deals out in Hollywood
Got a '65 Chevy, primered flames
Traded for some powdered goods
Jigsaw Jimmy He's runnin' a gang
But I hear he's doin' o.k.
Got a cozy little job, sells the Mexican...
-
This is after a real Dr by the name of Dr Hurwitz that invented Opiod pain medicine and eventually was sentenced to prison due to the fact that they are extremely addicting. However they were extremely affective.
-
I clearly think the song is about a los Angeles drug dealer named jimmy, who has the world in the palm of his hands. he trades hos car for cocaine.
-
"dr. feel good" was a scientist who sold meth to famous people kennedy is one example. this song is about meth or coke dealer.
-
its about coke and nothing else its obvious when he says "Got a '65 Chevy, primered flames Traded for some powdered goods" so its clearly not about a sex maniac..and there is more lines in there that make it obvious about cocaine....LONG LIVE THE CRUE!!
-
it's clearly about a sex maniac. but agreeable with the drug dealer. can't argue with that. it could be possibly about a husband who has sex for a continued amount of time with his wife.
-
The song is CLEARLY about a coke dealer. I'm 15 and even I knew that! but what the eff is with them playing in a dome out in the middle of nowhere?
-
I'm sure Nikki said that this song was written just as the Crue decided to take it easy after all the OD'ing and that.
-
Also consider heroin.
-
haha yeaah...except the coke dealers name is Jimmy don't forget that...
-
It's pretty obvious it's the story of a cocaine dealer in Los Angeles. And it's incredibly obvious if you watch the video.
