If I Die Tomorrow Lyrics
After all these years
And when all the time is gone
Still seems so unclear
Cause there's no one else
Since I found you
I know it's been so hard
You should know
If I die tomorrow
As the minutes fade away

To me this song is about coming to terms with your mortality. For instance it says, “As the minutes fade away, I can’t remember, Have I said all I can say” This is talking about how a lot of people don’t really think to themselves is they are happy with their life. It later says, “I’ve got nothing to lose, One thing to prove, I won’t make the same mistakes, And now I know, Everything will be okay” This talks about coming to terms with the fact that you’re going to die, and in the music video it shows moments of the band member’s lives where they struggled immensely. Vince Neil is speeding in a Ford Pantera, this is the same kind of car he was driving when he had a drunken accident. Mick Mars is seen laying on a hospital bed while being tended to by a nurse, this is about the fact that he had a back condition for years which resulted in a hip replacement. Tommy Lee is seen screaming in a jail cell, this references the time he spent in jail. Nikki Sixx is seen surrounded by flaming spoons, sprouting wings, losing them, and falling off a cliff. This is referring to how Nikki was once dead for two minutes because of his heroin addiction, but was brought back to life. This is symbolized by him floating back up, like being on the verge of death and coming back.
