Muse: The Small Print Meaning
The Small Print Lyrics
And I'll compensate your greed
With broken hearts
Sell, I'll sell your memories
For 15 pounds per year
But just the good days
Say, it'll make you insane
And it's bending the truth
You're to blame
For all the...

The original title of this song was Action Faust, referring to a play in which the main character(Faust) sells his soul to the devil in exchange for the devil doing his bidding while alive. Faust eventually realizes that is was a horrible trade and starts to rethink, but it was too late.
This song is from the devil's perspective, The Small Print referring to the text that you might not catch in a contract. -
a good part of the album#, including this song is mainly about heartbreak from a strong relationship.... boom =P

Contracts contracts, contracts. Hidden Clauses - controlling our lives

In my opinion, bf is pissed at the gf for something they've done...
or vice versa.
Case Closed -
Well
the whole album is kinda concept-album about the end of the world
and it seems to me the lyrics deal with the same theme
(you´re to blame for all the life that you´ll lose)
(hope, I hope you´ve seen the light because no one really cares, they´re just pretending)
The person in the song is something supernatural and he´s "bad"
maybe a demon or a fallen angel?
(I´m the priest god never paid)
he cheats the people out of her good memories -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
