My Chemical Romance: Bury me in Black Meaning
Bury me in Black Lyrics
White lies, you've worn out all your dancing shoes this time
Just give us war-worn lipstick by the door if I inflame
These eyes have had too much to drink again tonight
Black skies, we'll douse...

Gerard Way is pissed off. Really pissed off - "I wanna see what your insides look like/I bet you're not fucking pretty on the inside". This song was written when Gerard was still a heavy alcoholic, and the song is about a drinking partner he has who has stopped drinking ("You've worn out all your dancing shoes this time"). Gerard is, once again, drunk ("These eyes have had too much to drink again tonight") and is now off to tell his ex-drinking partner just how angry he is at being abandoned. First he tries to call him ("I've been calling you all week for my shotgun/Pick up the phone") but then decided he'll go visit him. He gets into a drunken fight with him ("And well I can explain/What happened to my face late last night".)

Gerard's obviously drunk...i think that he's talking about losing a girlfriend...or maybe they're fighting and Gerard is drunk BECAUSE of that, and he ends up at her house in a drunken haze and sleeps on the couch.

This whole song kind of messes with me a bit because I usually am able to decode most songs... The one thing I got out of it was that I know during the time period that Gerard wrote this, he wasn't in a very good state of mind (he was addicted to drugs and alcohol). So I think that the line "These eyes have had too much to drink again." Doesn't necessarily mean that they've drunken anything (Duh, eyes can't drink...) But the things they've seen make him act irrationally and do things sort of the way the drugs and booze do...
Hope I helped! -
When this song was written and recorded, Gerard was going through his alcoholic stage. The drinking shows in the lyrics ("I said, we'll drown ourselves in misery tonight" "These eyes have had too much to drink again tonight").
The song could be about him losing a drinking partner/friend ("Pick up the phone, pick up the phone, fucker") and lashing out about it, because there is a lot of anger and violence in the words (I wanna see what your insides look like, I bet you're not fucking pretty on the inside"). Just a thought. -
"Pick up the phone/Pick up the phone, fucker" is clearly about Gerard wanting Frank to pick up the phone because he wants to have some ~fun.
