My Chemical Romance: Demolition Lovers Meaning
Demolition Lovers Lyrics
And then I'd say to you
We could take to the highway
With this trunk of ammunition too
I'd end my days with you
In a hail of bullets
I'm trying
I'm trying
To let you know just how much you mean to...
-
I personally think that some of you guys are right. It seems to me like it's about a relationship that's had it's ons and offs and that he's begging and trying to make her understand that he would do anything for her and that she means everything to him. Basically what you all have said.
-
If does fit in with the second cd but you ahve to remeber the second cd has hit mainstream and the first is still underground people don't get it so in truth we may all be wrong...
The story presented in these lyrics is a make-shift of bonnine and clyde how they go off togetehr in a hail of bullets and such. -
Anyone think this song has a connection with the film natural born killers? Or is it a coincidence they have similar things in them?
-
That's correct, revenge follows on from where bullets left off. It's hard to make a perfect link between the two, but they're one and the same.
I think if you look at any real artist, you'll find that albums follow on from each other as they're usually written from personal experiences and stories. Obviously ignore the corporate pop machine, cause they're not about anything other than catch tunes and mindless singers. -
Actually, you're the dumbass. Both CDs combine to make one story and a few songs about band experiences.
-
^^^ You're talking about three cheers, this song is on "bullets", dumbass...
-
Actually... I think all of you are right.
I mean... If you really look at it, on one hand he seems to be suggestings suicide... but for the most part he is saying that he would do anything for his one true love- even die for/with her... -
Gerard wrote this for his girlfriend. This is basically his tribute to her, and how he loves her so much, and is trying to prove it. It means that he would die with/for her. All he's doing is proving his love. It's nothing dealing with suicide, idiot^. [[Whoever wrote that.]] It also means that he'd take a bullet for her, just to save her, because he loves her so much.
Thanks. -
It seems to me to be a turbulent relationship that ends in a suicide pact.
-
This song I talking about him loving someone so much that he would die with them or for them and do anything for them."I'd end my days with you in a hail of bullets","And I feel like there's nothing left to do","But prove myself to you".And my one of favorite verses,"And as we're falling down, I'll see your eyes, And in this pool of blood, I'll meet your eyes,I mean this,Forever."
