My Chemical Romance: Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us Meaning
Song Released: 2003
Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us Lyrics
Counteracts the booze I'm drinking
And this vanity I'm breaking
Lets me live my life like this
And well, I find it hard to stay
With the words you say
Oh baby, let me in
Oh baby, let me in
Well I'll...

This song is definitely about a girl Gerard was involved with and she was trying to take over his life.she didn't want him to do drugs, she was starting to see his friends etc. an dyes gee was on cocaine on bullets. His usage of it just escalated and got dangerous whilst making revenge. Gerard has said in live shows that this song is about a big fat whore :)
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
it is about his adiction than his girlfriend tells him to stop but he gets angry and breaks up with her but she still wants to be in his life by being close to his brother and friends
-
Okay. So I read in a magazine that this song is about His coke addiction and that there is a girl who is begging him to stop. He refuses so she tries to get into every bit of his life. She treis to take over his friends and all that junk. So yeah. I could be wrong but that's just what I read. :D

Has gerard actually tried cocaine? I thought he was clean. O_o
-
It is about Gerard's coke addiction, and ' mirrors ' are a term used in cocaine. The song is mainly about his coke addiction affecting his girl friend, which the term ' you can't touch my brother and you can't have my friends ' was about her threating Gerard that she will try to get to them and hurt them in some way. Also, at shows he has often said ' this song is about a big fat whore '
-
It's about drug use.
-
I agree with the second comment. Gerard's decline into cocaine did not occur until after revenge had been recorded. When this was written he was on anti-depressants, but not cocaine.
-
Um dude its the other way around the chick is the one cracked up and the dude is the one whos telling her to fuck off. "you can't touch my brother and you won't fuck my fiends" and the whole "never agane" part sapports my idea
-
Okay, this song is about Gerard's coke addiction. I heard from someone that "mirrors" have something to do with cocaine (I'm not sure how exactly though). The girl he's with wants him to quit, and he wants her to fuck off and leave him alone, and no matter how much she begs, he won't stop (you can cry all you want to...). By the way, I got this from imnotokay.com
