When the patient was a teen, he was basically an ungrateful little piece of offal. This song is very reminicent (like the song Teenagers) of the book and movie A Clockwork Orange. Gerard way loves both, so I think the character Alex and his Droogs sneak their way into the story now and again. In House of Wolves, the patient watches himself as a kid, and how everytime he does something horrible, his teenage self simply dismisses his own actions, saying that yes, he was a a bad man, and that we all die in the end so it doesn't even matter.
