Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) Lyrics
The aftermath is secondary.
It's time too do it loud and do it loud.
Killjoys, make some noise.

Drugs, gimme drugs, gimme drugs
I don't need it, but I'll sell what you got
Take the cash and...

#1 top rated interpretation:Your interpretations are all good, but I would like to tie up some loose ends.
"The future is bullet-proof.
The aftermath is secondary."
These lines indicate the nonchalance for the future some people have.
"The future is bullet-proof" (unchangeable)
"The aftermath is secondary."(The outcomes of your actions are insignificant)
"Drugs, gimme drugs, gimme drugs
I don't need it, but I'll sell what you got
Take the cash and I'll keep it”
People don't care for the outcomes of their actions; they only care for their own needs (money, comfort etc...)
"Fuck like a Kennedy"
This suggests at how people take pride in things they shouldn't.
"Let's blow an artery
Eat plastic surgery
Keep your apology
Give us more detonation"
"Let's blow an artery"
As -DirtyDanTheMAndrews said, it refers to our fast-food culture
"Eat plastic surgery"
People want to eat unhealthy foods yet keep thin.
"Keep your apology"
Some people don't care about the consequences of their actions on others
"Give us more detonation"
Detonation refers to things that will cause harm to the person and others around him/her in the future.
"Everybody wants to change the world
Everybody wants to change the world
But no one,
No one wants to die
Wanna try, wanna try, wanna try
Wanna try, wanna try, oh
I'll be your detonator"
He is inviting people to help change the world and volunteering to “be your detonator". Be the person who lets the person "explode" feel the consequences.
"Make no apology
It's death or victory
On my authority
Crash and burn"
It refers to people’s 'do or die' attitude, expecting others to give it all for their leaders cause, hence "On my authority Crash and burn"
"Drop like a bulletshell
Dress like a sleeper cell
I'd rather go to hell
Than be in purgatory"
"Dress like a sleeper cell"
People who want to fit in try their best, even though, deep down, they know they don't belong
"I'd rather go to hell
Than be in purgatory"
Purgatory is the place in the Middle ages where criminals, willingly or unwillingly, tortured themselves in the believe that they are atoning for their sins, and thereby increasing their change to go to heaven -

#2 top rated interpretation:This whole song is making fun of society and pop music.
the first verse is saying people dont try enough in life so the sell drugs for a living. (crawling) ex.bottom of the chain
Second verse is saying everyone especially in america wants more in life. that no one is happy with what they got no matter how much they have.
Let's blow an artery - fast food is killing us
Eat plastic surgery- everyone wants to look better, and its so advertised these days
Keep your apology- anything from goverment to family
Give us more detonation- more reason for killjoys to be pissed off about this world
The whole verse from "Oh - animal!" is making fun of the pop scene, comics, music, movies.. batman, "hit the party with a gas can" refers to lil jon and his crunk juice back a couple years ago
The last bit is how upset the killjoys are with how this world turned out to be and there needs to be a change soon before there is self destruction.
(Now everything in the video backs it up, the killjoys *bandmembers* are trying to help this little girl from being corrupted from all the bad of the world. Basically becoming a clone of everyone else. That's why all the vampires are identical under one dictator who is the bald guy. In the next video sing one killjoy pulls a vampire mask off a person and realizes that these people are either brainwashed or trapped...)
This is just my point of view, and i think its accurate, there's a lot of corrupt things in this world. And some of us would like to see change for the better!

#3 top rated interpretation:This is to do with the music video.
In the desert there is a skeleton wearing a Black Parade Outfit (a reference to their previous album). He is thought to be the old drummer of MCR who left earlier in 2010.
At the end of the video they are about to fight the Vampires and it looks just like the fight with the school group in the video for 'I'm not Okay (I promise)'.

I read all of these and I get every single one but some I don't get what people are saying "hit the party with a gas can" saying destroy the "party" or the broken society we live in, "dress like a sleeper cell" dressing like someone your not to fit in. Those are the only ones I really saw that I didn't understand what people were saying other than that it all makes sense. Basically they are trying to keep the girl from becoming part of this broken society because the "BL/Ind" can corrupt the girl and they go to kill the kill joys because they are grown and arnt easily manipulated to do they will.
-
I believe it really is just about the story of the album. If you read the comic, which is the story after the album, you would know that they (the Killjoys) want the world to literally explode. They know they can't change it, so they want the girl to make it explode. That is why they are protecting the girl, and I think that's what the song is about.

its based post Apocalypse and one group have taken over and are controlling every where the areas are the states in this albul and all they are doing was trying to make the world free again so the meaning is to fight back, be your self never give up only give up when you know its over even there your spirit will fight on you are never alone just stand up push back against authority do whatever needed to survive and beat them fight for freedom and strength that is what this album is all about fighting back trusting a select few others and other wise protect your loved ones change the world so it is free or die trying that this is a rebellion against authority to survive and save the world and be the future of the world fight back till you can't then push back more.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

i think this song explains how the world has so many problems. The first line about drugs explains how everybody sells drugs, how many people have tried and etc. The next line is about people consuming too much porn and taking love for granted, and dumping someone after theyre happy. Lets blow an artery refers to modern american food habits and i believe na na na is reffering to the sound people here in there head, a one note, shallow yet happy little tune. This explains how unaware they are.
-
The song really has to do with the setting of the album. The song is a description of life in 2019, how many people have become emotionless, greedy, and lowlifed. The killjoys don't really want to save the world, they know it's unsavable. All they want to do is blow up the world.
-
I agree, this song is all about society and they are trying to save this girl from becoming a bad part of it.
-
I Belive This Song Is About The Killjoys Trying To Save This Girl (Yes She Is A Girl).
"Lets Blow A Artery"
Refers To Killing The Vampires & Korse In A Battle To The Death.
At The End Of This Video They Show Korse & His Minions VS. The Killjoys To A Battle & Then They Show The Killjoys Lying On The Ground & Korse Says "Keep Running" Which Refers To The Next Song To The Story Which Is
