Stay Awake Lyrics

Say, the lights are really low enough to play,
Would you catch me when I'm falling down?
And all alone, alone and if,
You try to make the most of this,
And you said you'd always love me,
Then you made me walk away.

And if you stay right...

I think it is about someone who doesnt want someone else to kill themself and they are letting them noe that someone out there loves them.

It sounds like either a song about a relationship, maybe a breakup or a song to someone contemplating suicide. Perhaps MCR wrote it in response to the 'suicide cult' claims. It tells you to 'stay right here' - remain living, even though it can seem that there's 'no one who cares'. It's telling us that there's always someone who cares, who understands how you feel.

idk if it's about Gerard && Lyn-Z.. in my opinion it's about this person who seems to like living in misery, and the song is saying that he/she should let go of that because somewhere someone loves her/him and doesnt want to see them in pain like that. [[it makes all the difference when someone's suicidal if there's even one person that desperately loves them and doesnt want them to go]]
this song is amazing. MCRmy for lifee. <3

It's a song about Gerard and Lyn-Z. Specifically, a fight they had. He wants everything to be alright, she's mad, but he knows she loves him, and that it'll be okay.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
