House Of Memories Lyrics

Woah Woah
Woah Woah
If your a lover you should know
The lonely moments just get lonelier
The longer your in love
Than if you were alone
Memories turn into daydreams become a taboo
I shouldn't be afraid the deeper than I go
It takes my...

This song is about Ryan's and Brendon's past relationship (friends or as a couple who knows) and he is saying that he still misses him from time to time and he just wants Ryan to remember him as well and keep him in his heart forever ;D

I think this song is about a time when Brendon was heartbroken. In the beginning he describes the time when he was suddenly alone after the break up with his ex and how all those memories of them together tortued him all the time. Then he probably is trying to tell that he is afraid of a new love because he is scared to get hurt again and that those memories will haunt him again.
In the chorus he wants to go sure his ex remembers him even if they split up. He wants to go sure that the time they spent together won't be forgotten by his expartner.
Then he starts thinking about mistakes he made but tries to excuse himself for them. He tells that he thinks more of his ex than he thought but that he was so kind to be forgotten. Also he tells that he was young, so probably unexperiencend and curious and maybe also naiv. He was a fool and fell for his expartner without realising that it was probably wrong.
Then he references again to the memories that hunt him and he, again, wants to go sure his ex will remember him.

I hope this interpretation is at least a bit right... :D

I believe this is talking about a married couple who divorced and the husband is hoping his wife will never forget the memories they had built together or it is talking of a boy who ended his relationship with a girl and hoping that she thinks about him.

Turtles, chicken, money? I think you are talking about something else. How can you be a dog? Sincerely?

    I disagree

I think you should ask my mom if you want to make sure you are correct. Also, give me money. I gave you an answer. I like turtles and I will eat your chicken. Sincerely,
    Your mother's dog

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

Brendon Urie was in relationship with someone, and created memories with that person.
