Panic! At The Disco: LA Devotee Meaning
LA Devotee Lyrics
And a black heart that matches your blackest soul
I wouldn't change ya
Oh-oh
Wouldn't ever try to make you leave
No-oh
The neon coast was your sign
And the Midwest wind with Pisces...

"Invisible to the Hollywood shrine"
What's invisible to the Hollywood shrine is the illuminati
Also in the video you see illuminati signs -
This song is not about any relationship devotee means someone is is very interested or enthusiastic about something. Meaning that being an La devotee means you are very interested and enthusiastic about the Hollywood spotlight and the fame and fortune. The song is basically saying that when that chance comes and you become famous you're selling your life away that's why in the music video Noah Schnapp was used as a sort of sacrifice.

LA Devotee is a love letter to Los Angeles.” This is a quote Brendon Urie said during an interview at IHeart radio, the link is here INTERVIEW: Panic! At The Disco On 'Death Of A Bachelor's' Meaning . The song is basically about all the things Urie has fallen in love with over the 8 years he has lived there, that’s the short answer, continue for longish answer.

I believe this song is about Brendon and his wife bc in the song it mentions both of there birth monthes

I honestly think it's about an abusive relationship. I'm going to reference the online comic"Killing Stalking" in the story the two main characters love each other but one of them is a sociopath and the main character tosses and turns over whether to leave him or not which I think is what's happening in the song.
-
I think this song has a lot to do about utter devotion which can relate to abusive relationships (in which the abused person is usually very devoted to their abuser which is the reason they don't leave), and religion which is referenced in the music video with pentagrams and images of satan. The boy being forced to drink water at the beginning of the video is symbolic of how religion can be forced down our throats.
-
I personally think this song is about an abusive relationship from the abusers perspective."You've got two black eyes from loving to hard"refers to physical abuse "you've got bleached out eyes from the valley sands" refers to the one being abused thinking it's their fault and being blind to the reality of the matter. "Wouldn't ever try to make you see"/"never try to make you leave" says that the abuser enjoys to do so and won't ever let him/her leave.

I'm almost certainly positive that this is about Sarah Orzechowski., Brendon's wife. Because Sarah's birthday is on February 23rd, and that's a Pisces...
Brendon also lives in LA (Los Angeles), and 'devotee' means someone who is very interested or enthusiastic about something or someone. And then there's a part in the song where it mentions "Aries", and Brendon is born in April so he is an ARIES. So I think it's about Sarah and Brendon, but the video tells a different story. "Just another LA Devotee".Is he saying that Sarah is an "LA Devotee?". Who knows? -
