We're So Starving Lyrics

Oh, how it's been so long
We're so sorry we've been gone
We were busy writing songs for you

Oh, how it's been so long
We're so sorry we've been gone
We were busy writing songs for
You don't have to worry
'Cause we're still the same...

Umm so obviously it’s about them being like lol we’re back!! Sorry it took so long

But can we talk about the more important matter, the fact that they said “You don’t have to worry, we’re still the same band” and repeated “ you don’t have to worry” like 25 times even though obviously that was some bs because not only was it the last album where they were all there except Brent for obvious reasons, but personally it was the time where they broke my heart

And now I’m salty but it’s ok

I mean, OBVIOUSLY, since it's the first song on the album, Pretty Odd, it has no specific meaning. Brendon, Ryan, Spencer, and Jon saying that they're back, sorry for not releasing anything in like three years, no need to worry cause nothing has happened, they're still the same, etc. "We were busy writing songs for, YOU!" Just busy writing the songs, it just takes patience.
